Actually should be already mid-December. Today the participants of the beta program for Android 7.0 Nougat on the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge received the information that the beta test is complete. The final update is to be delivered in the coming weeks.
Even if the Galaxy S7 and the sister model, the Galaxy S7 Edge, is replaced in a few months by the Galaxy S8 series, there is still much to report the still top smartphone from Samsung. For example, the fifth beta was also the last Android nougat test version that the testers received. This announcement was received by participants in the beta program on 30th December 2016.
